Creative Social Event: Customizing Hats

If you're a fan of western fashion, you know that hats are an essential part of the style. There's no better way to make a statement than with a custom hat that reflects your personality and taste. Recently, Suede + Smoke hosted a customizing hat event in Kamas, Utah, and it was an incredible experience.

The event took place at Outpost Coffee, a motorcycle cafe with a vibe that perfectly complemented the theme of the event. The hat bands, leather, branding, and steam from the hat shaping all came together to set the tone for the night. The atmosphere was inviting and got us excited. We started off with drinks from Outpost Coffee and got to know new friends.

The workshop area was set up with different hat shapes and sizes, and the materials offered were varied, including leather, silk, chiffon, denim, and more. The colors ranged from earthy tones like tan, and chocolate browns to pinks, oranges, and more, perfect for any style. Carson, from Lone Willow Hat Co., was the master of his craft and gave expert advice on the best hat shape for each person's head. He showed us how to shape our hats to fit our face and personal style, and gave us tips on how to add unique features like suede fringe or leather stitching. Tatum from Iron Pine & Co offered a variety of branding options, including letters, bison, trees, and antlers, to name a few. The personalized brands added meaning to the hats, from great-grandparents' initials to family-owned ranch brands. Tatum helped us make our hats truly one-of-a-kind.

But the customization didn't stop there. Suede + Smoke also offered custom hat bands made of suede, leather, silks, chiffons, feathers, and even playing cards. We could choose the color, material, and textures that spoke to us. It was a great way to add a unique touch to our hats.

In between customizing our hats, Honey B Cakes provided a menu with sweet and savory bites. We enjoyed tortilla cups, puffs, cookies, cakes, and more. It was a perfect way to take a break and soak up the atmosphere.

Overall, the customizing hat event was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere of smoke, steam, and fabric was a unique touch, and the customization options were endless. If you're a fan of western fashion or looking for a way to add some personality to your accessories, I highly recommend attending a customizing hat event like this one. It's a great way to show off your style and have a fun western-themed experience. I have to thank Outpost Coffee, Lone Willow Hat Co., HoneyB Cakes, Pretty Thang Silvers, and Iron Pine & Co for joining me and adding so much to this event.
